Slow progress

Hello again my lovely readers.
We've already started our 3rd week! Time really flies =)

The progress of being around us and out of the cage slowly but steadily keeps going better.
The girls still have a bad habit of peeing and pooping on the couch when they are out with us. Still some anxiety I suppose. I'm thinking there is little we can do what we don't do already to keep them comfortable, with a blanket for shelter and treats for distraction. I hope that the perseverance from our side will eventually pay off.

On Saturday brought is puppy retriever over for me to babysit, as I do more often. I was really curious how both the pup and my girls would react to one another.
Fortunately, things went well. The puppy had mostly interest for the smells of food near the cage. The girls were comfortable up high, at first, but as the evening progressed and they turned more active they could roam about the cage as usual, without being spooked by the dog.

The dog slept through most of the active hours of the girls, which is positive of course. When he woke up, he really was curious, but kept his respectful distance. So I'm really happy with that.
Coming week will be another puppy-sit day for me, hopefully, it will be as nice.

I took them out the cage this morning, and got all scratched up on my arms and in my neck (because my fluffy cardigan is really fun to climb onto). One of them even managed to climb onto my head. O.o
I'm not sure why they were so hyperactive. All I know is, I'll have marks all over me this week =P
